It has been eleven years since I had a dog entered in The Western Classic.
Sad to see how the numbers have decreased in Collies from 61 entries in 2001 to just 13 in 2017. Total Show entry in 2002 was nearly 1300 dogs in 2017 just shy of 900.
Sticking with my mantra of quality not quantity that served me so well with my collies a decade ago, I have only bred two quality litters since becoming involved in Shetland sheepdogs in late 2015.
