This lovely puppy is the culmination of years of planning and pedigree study. Importing his very well credentialled mother, who was a Grand Champion in America and an Award of Merit winner at the 2018 American Shetland Sheepdog Nationals, with over 600 entries. Only ten AOM’s are awarded. Add to this the incredible American and Canadian dogs behind his pedigree and this dog should be a stellar producer and keenly sought at stud.
I am so proud to say that Justin is DNA clear of every known heritable disease for the breed.
Justin also has a 0/0 Hip Score and full dentition. The ultimate package, what more could you ask for?
Right from his first outing in the ring in Adelaide, Justin was a winner.
Winning in Adelaide as a young puppy, he was sent to Garry Dryburgh in Sydney, to continue his career. Justin did not disappoint us at some of the biggest shows, under International judges.
One of his most precious wins as a young dog was at the NSW Spring Fair.
After a stint showing in Sydney it was back to Adelaide where he sired his first litter and WOW what a litter. Two of these pups were chosen to show, one is Ch LochWind Obsession and the other LochWind Onyx JDX JDO SPD SWN

With his first litter doing so well, he was showing again in Adelaide and doing handsomely along with his son and daughter.
As with most American lines they take a long time to mature and are in there prime at 5 or 6 years of age, but tend to hold that form for years. So the best is undoubtedly yet to come. I can hardly wait.
Justin returned home to Western Australia to fully mature and spend some quality time with his old mate Ron Cassels. While Justin has been in WA he has sired another quality litter, born in late 2023. Several of these pups are already winning well. Justin is scheduled to return to Sydney for the big shows and more stud duties in early 2025.
After spending a six figure sum importing and breeding Shelties, I am pleased to say Justin at $3000 stud fee may actually put some pennies back in the coffers. That will depend on how many big wins he can pull off in the future. Even if he only sired a litter a year that would still be around $20k back. That’ll pay for one of his legs. LOL.
Maturing into everything I could ask for as a show super star.
